Criteria & Rules

  • Team

Vision and Charisma. Great companies are built by great teams. We are looking for a great core – a strong leader with charisma and vision, that has put together the beginnings of a strong team to build products and services addressing big markets. One person on the team must be designated as the team lead at the time of the initial submission and thus is authorized to make all decisions on behalf of the team.

  • Product

Big Markets. Right Product. Right Time. The XTC is designed to give companies that have shown the beginnings of “product / market fit” a boost by providing winners with a lot of visibility and connections to world class influencers and introductions to Fortune 500 companies seeing partnerships with innovative people and companies. We’re looking for scalable products or services that address BIG markets. Validation that customers want your product NOW or demonstrated usage is highly desirable to the judges. Repeat: Big markets. Right Product. Right Time.

  • Market

Life is short. Move the needle. Be BOLD. We want to hear from entrepreneurs who have the potential to have BIG IMPACT. Big value is created when teams revolutionize big segments at the right time. While not everyone can address the size of markets that Steve Jobs and Elon Musk have been able to revolutionize — there are plenty of markets that are sizeable and ripe for disruption. We’re looking for teams addressing BIG segments.

  • Application & Participation

You will be judged by the quality of your application. We will assume that the style, wording, and thoughtfulness of your presentation will be a reflection of how you will present your idea to customers, partners, and other future stakeholders.  And if your submission is selected as a Top 25, Top 10 or Top 3 finalist, as a condition of your participation in these judging rounds of judging you agree to promptly provide any additional information we may request, submit video clips (and allow onsite interviews and filming at your offices where possible), and send one or more representatives to XTC events for which your company is selected.

  • Financing

We are looking for WINNERS to weave into our community. There is no hard-and-fast rule as to current revenue level or prior capital raised, but we will be biased to pick disruptive companies where we think we can add value and make a difference to your success. Many of the judges are active investors, and as such, we are generally focused on relatively early stage companies where 1) we can make a difference, and 2) that might provide great returns should judges invest their own capital.

Please make yourself familiar with the Eureka Park application criteria.

  • Intellectual Property

The proposed business should not be in violation of any intellectual property rights; including but not limited to patent infringement.  You also agree, in exchange for the opportunity to participate in XTC, to grant a non-exclusive license, for no additional consideration, for the use your company’s (and your founders’) name and likeness as a competitor in XTC, in photos, videos and other media for promotional and commercial use.

  • General Rules

Prizes are offered subject to compliance with all applicable local laws, rules and regulations. By continuing to access or use the site or to otherwise participate in the competition after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Rules. If you do not agree to the new rules, please withdraw from the competition.
By participating in this business plan competition, you agree to abide by the rules of this competition described above, in addition to the more general terms applicable to the F6S competition platform.
